ID Card and Parking

After your employee record is activated, take time to visit the Mount Carmel campus to obtain a QCard and a parking permit.

Your University ID -- "QCard"

The Q-Card is the official University ID. It is used for access to the university’s networked print/copy system, checking out books at the library, and using the Recreation Center facilities. It is also form of payment at numerous locations, including the Dining Hall, vending machines and off-campus businesses. Visit www.quinnipiac.edu/qcard for additional information, including depositing funds, and locations you can use the card.

A QCard (including a photograph) may be obtained in the QCard office located in the south wing of the Arnold Bernhard Library building. (Hours: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

Parking Decal

Parking for faculty members is provided at no cost at Quinnipiac University. All motor vehicles and motorcycles parked on campus must be registered with the Department of Public Safety. To obtain a parking decal, begin at the "Vehicle Permit Application" page in MyQ. (From the MyQ home page, click on "Quick Links" at left, and then on "Vehicle Permit Application.") To complete the vehicle registration process, visit the Security and Safety Office located in Irmagarde Tator Residence Hall, Suite 118.

Display the decal on the inside front windshield (lower left driver’s side). If, at some later time, you need to use a vehicle that does not have a permit for a few days, obtain a temporary guest card from the lot’s security guard.
